although it is true the americans did want the british to relinquish empire. that old racist churchill was fighting back against the wall to preserve empire but his piddly little country couldn't any longer afford to finance empire, or so goes this story.

but they had stolen $10 trillion from india. they could have afforded just from the interest thereon to run their tyranny in india. anyway, they always took money from india to buy the guns and troops to kill us. (ironically that sounds like what pak is doing to america -- using american money to kill americans!)
